A Woman’s Perspective on the Women’s March on Washington…Freeda B. Blunt…

A few days ago, a Facebook friend of mine sent a note about the “Women’s March on Washington,” which is scheduled the day after President-elect Trump is inaugurated.

This was the first time I’d heard about the event and I was curious. See, we don’t have TV… don’t use it, don’t want it. (I could create a whole post around that, but it is sufficient to say that the ultimate trash and evil images broadcasted into your home—like commercials that you can’t control and dipshit journalists—really is deplorable, and we don’t subject ourselves or our daughter to it.)

Anyway, I went on over to the Facebook page dedicated to the event to see what it was all about. What I read was a mass of non-communicative gobbledy-gook that truly embodies the ridiculous rhetoric used on deluded idiots. So I thought I’d break it down from a reasonably intelligent woman’s perspective… mine.

Here’s what it said:

“We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families, recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.”

These women “recognize” that “diverse communities” are somehow the backbone of our nation’s strength. Hmmmm. Let me see. What in the heck are they talking about?

Check out this race map from the 2010 census:

Or maybe they mean something else, life lifestyle… according to “estimates” based on some surveys that take a very small percentage of participants and then apply the information to the entire population, there are supposed to be about 3.8% of people who identify as LGBT. Which would mean about nine million adults. But, remember, that is a GUESS. They don’t know.

But, whatever. On to the next idiocy:

“The rhetoric of the past election cycle has insulted, demonized, and threatened many of us: immigrants of all statuses, Muslims and those of diverse religious faiths, people who identify as LGBTQIA, Native people, Black and Brown people, people with disabilities, and survivors of sexual assault. Our communities are hurting and scared. We are confronted with the question of how to move forward in the face of national and international concern and fear.”

Ok, this is just a lie. The “rhetoric” was created, not by the candidates, but by the media. Our “communities” aren’t “hurting and scared” their freaking Jubilant!

“In the spirit of democracy and in honor of the champions of human rights, dignity, and justice who have come before us, we join in diversity to show our presence in numbers too great to ignore.”

The count was almost a whopping 80,000 likes at last look.

“The Women’s March on Washington will send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world, that women’s rights are human rights. We stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us.”

Wrong.

These people don’t give a shit about “human rights,” if they did, they’d be working together to condemn the SLAVERY that is happening right now.

These are just a bunch of crybaby, nagging losers who think that they can get on TV with their make-believe oppression.

“We support the advocacy and resistance movements that reflect our multiple and intersecting identities.”

WTF does this even mean? This isn’t a coherent thought. It says NOTHING. Look I can do it too…

We care about the provision that exists among humans, and help develop the continuance of those concepts by comprehending an endowment facility.

See… nothing.

“We will not rest until women have parity and equity at all levels of leadership in society. We work peacefully while recognizing there is no true peace without justice and equity for all. HEAR OUR VOICE.”

Yeesh. I haven’t read this much BS since… well, I don’t know when. I can’t believe that this is real.

Naturally, I will not be attending this ludicrous event, or listening to the “thought leaders” who will be speaking. BTW, why would I want someone to lead my thoughts? I can understand someone supplying information, but that’s not the same thing. I’ll also go out on a limb here and estimate that only about 1000-2000 women will show up. Here’s why:

That’s about the amount of unemployed, yet professional protesters that show up anywhere when there’s not any possibility of looting.

None of these women will want to stick around in the cold weather… it makes your skin too dry.

Just my take,
Freeda
