Three Punks Enter a Nashville, Tennessee Shoe Store and Open Fire…Customer Takes one of their Weapons and Shoots all Three, Killing One…

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man died after he was injured during a shootout at a Bordeaux shoe and clothing store late Thursday night.

It happened inside retailer Hot Kicks, located in a strip mall at 3101 Clarksville Pike, around 11 p.m.

Metro police told News 2 a group of people were inside the store when at least three armed suspects came in through an unlocked back door and began firing.

Witnesses said one of the people in the group was able to wrestle one of the suspect’s gun away and exchanged fired with at least one person.

The three gunmen fled and a 22-year-old inside the store called police.

Responding officers discovered 19-year-old Damelvian Evans critically injured behind the business. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.

Authorities said officers found one man near the back door with several gunshot wounds. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later died.

According to police, two other suspects, Ricky Starks and Dwight Mason Jr., both 18, later showed up at TriStar Centennial Medical Center with gunshot wounds. Police said they both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
