Democrat operative Jackson Cosko, 27, from Washington, D.C., was arrested for the doxxing of at least three Republican Senators during the confirmation hearings for Judge Kavanagh.
When Cosko was caught in the act of breaking into a senator’s office, he allegedly threatened to exact a very nasty revenge. He sent an email to the person who witnessed the break in, stating he would release the social security numbers, and private medical information of the Senator’s children.
“If you tell anyone, I will leak it all,” Cosko threatened.
Cosko describes himself as a Democratic political professional and claims to be a graduate student in the field of cybersecurity.
He appears to be a devout leftist.
Cosko boasts he was a lead organizer for Generation Forward, and a case manager for Change Inc., two left wing political organizations, and he gave money to Democrat Socialist Bernie Sander’s campaign.
After employment as a restaurant server, he entered the Democrat political machine and has worked in the offices of at least four Democrat lawmakers; Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, Maggie Hassan, and Sheila Jackson Lee.
While Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings were ongoing, Cosko is alleged to have surreptitiously entered the offices of a Senator he no longer worked for, believed to be New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan.
Although Democrats claim he was not authorized to be in those offices, he entered anyway, logged into a computer using someone else’s credentials, and posted the conservative Senator’s private information online.
Senators Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee, and Orrin Hatch, were among a number of lawmakers that had their private information, including home addresses, exposed. At least two other Senators are believed to have been a target of Cosko’s attacks, and in the attack on Lindsey Graham, his phone number on Wikipedia actually belonged to the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League.
By doing so, he placed the lawmakers and their families in serious danger.
Many Americans feel that hateful rhetoric by the Democrat Party leadership has actively promoted acts of violence against conservatives since the election of President Trump, and that the calls by leftists to harass Republicans and Trump supporters has been answered by the more rabid elements of the party’s base.
Americans have been harangued, hounded, beaten, and in the case of the Republican softball practice, shot.
Cosko’s actions placed lawmakers and their families in jeopardy, making them accessible and more vulnerable to harassment, and worse.
But, Cosko apparently had no problem exposing American households to danger, and he was willing to go to even greater length’s to “resist.”
Cosko was spotted by another staffer breaking into Hassen’s office, who called police.
Capitol Police arrested the young liberal activist, charging him with publishing restricted personal information, threats in interstate communication, unauthorized access of a government computer, identity theft, witness tampering, second degree burglary, and unlawful entry.
After being caught feverishly typing in details that could facilitate violence toward GOP lawmakers, their spouses, and their children, Cosko doubled down on his resistance rage by threatening children.
The witness who walked in on Cosko received an email a few hours after discovering his crime that ominously threatened to release the social security numbers and the medical records of the Senator’s children.
“If you tell anyone, I will leak it all,” Cosko threatened the witness.
Posting social security numbers would have opened victims up to identity theft, and allowed criminals who are in the U.S. illegally to steal those numbers and claim them as their own.
Working under a stolen social security number could have led to the children turning 18, only to discover that they owe thousands in unpaid income tax for jobs they never had, and find their credit rating ruined through no fault of their own.
The release of their personal and private medical records would have also placed the children in jeopardy.
Many wonder if this task was assigned to Jackson Cosko as a mission to support the Democrat’s all-out push to destroy Judge Kavanaugh, or if Cosko took it on himself to commit these crimes.
Given that he used an office he was no longer authorized to access, and logged in with basically stolen credentials, if he’d been successful, both him and any Democrat handlers would have had a degree of deniability.
However, he was observed, reported, and arrested. After glimpsing the very real possibility of incarceration, many people hope he will tell the truth and flip on anyone else who was involved in these crimes.
